The water refilling station set up October 2008 is proving to be a sound investment.
In an interview, MPF-RBR Pasig General Manager Marwynne Rivera said that that the water treatment service saved the facility more than 80% compared to its former monthly spending on purified water.
“We want to avoid we use only purified water. But purified water is expensive,” he explained.
The station supplies the 35-40 five gallon container daily requirement of the entire facility.
Meanwhile, the waste water from the treatment station is used to wash clothes and clean the restrooms.
Delcare Water Treatment supplied the technology used for the water treatment facility.
